Inbound Travel Division

Our Inbound Division is the ground operator for leading wholesalers in Europe and in parts of Asia. We package and operate a wide range of tour products and services that suit individuals or groups visiting the country as well as domestic corporate and leisure travelers. Our tour programs can bring you to the most extraordinary destinations that highlight the country's remarkable natural, historical and cultural treasures.

Organized in 1975 in response to the government's call to develop the emerging tourist industry, MDTI now operates a nationwide network of branch, inplant and satellite offices in Metro Manila, Cebu, Bohol, Zamboanga, Palawan, Dumaguete, Cotobato, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and General Santos City. Its head office is located in Ayala Avenue, Makati City, the Philippine’s premier business and financial district.

In recognition of our high quality of service and the innovativeness and creativity of our programs, we take pride in being the only tour company that has received two (2) Kalakbay Hall of Fame Awards after winning for three (3) years each the Tour Operator of the Year (1989, 1992, 1995) and the Incentive Program of the Year (1990, 1993, 1997) awards. The Kalakbay is the highest and most prestigious industry award given by the Department of Tourism and the Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation.

Outbound Travel Division / BTI Philippines Marsman

Our Outbound Division trades under the name BTI Philippines Marsman. MDTI is the exclusive Philippine partner of Business Travel International (BTI), a worldwide partnership of leading corporate travel agents which are recognized in their respective countries for the quality of their service and their unrivalled local knowledge. BTI has offices in 90 countries and is continually expanding to have a presence in all major markets. With annual billings exceeding USD35 billion, BTI is one of the leading business travel management companies in the world.

BTI Philippines Marsman provides professional and comprehensive travel services to over 100 prestigious local, multinational and institutional accounts. These services include travel management, itinerary planning, computerized reservations system, automated ticketing, hotel, train and car reservations, travel documentation and management information system. It also offers service enhancements such as after-office hours emergency hotline, worldwide assistance through our global network, airport assistance, private car transfers, delivery of tickets and other documents, updating of clients milage accruals and travel insurance. Should a corporate account require in-plant travel services, we provide competent staff and the necessary equipment and technology.

We operate a Foreign Tours Section within this Division. This Section plans and organizes leisure travel, incentive trips, conventions and conferences, pilgrimage tours, cruises and special-interest tours to any destination worldwide. We work only with overseas partners that have proven reliability to ensure that our clients' trips are efficiently handled and always enjoyable.
